What is site replication?

Site replication is a feature, only available with the Ultimate and Network versions, that allows you to create replicated sites for your affiliates. By replicated sites, we mean that you can create a copy of your website on which you can use variables like {$firstname} and {$lastname}, which will be automatically replicated by Post Affiliate Pro based on the affiliate’s unique link. This way you can create personalized pages for each of your affiliates.

Why is site replication in Post Affiliate Pro better than in any other affiliate software?

Post Affiliate Pro implements site replication features in a unique and sophisticated way, allowing you to replicate PHP-based dynamic websites such as blogs or forums (e.g. implemented by WordPress or similar CMS software implemented in PHP). This makes it much easier to create and maintain content for each replicated site because you can edit entries in them directly from a web interface without having to handle simple HTML files.

Our site replication feature enables you to replicate multiple sites for your affiliates. Moreover, Post Affiliate Pro offers the option of creating an unlimited number of banners of the same design. Within their affiliate dashboards, affiliates can see replicated banners under the Banners section where they can choose whether or not they are going to use your replicated promotion.

Why should you use site replication?

Site replication gives your affiliates an easy way to promote your products. By making replicated sites, affiliates can promote you even if they do not have their own website to place banners. If there is a replicated site set up in your system, affiliates can just copy their URL and post them to potential customers. Replicated sites are personalized for each affiliate using Post Affiliate Pro variables that are replaced on the final page with the real affiliates’ info. This ensures that when customers visit the site, a click on a replicated affiliate link will be tracked and a cookie created, so later the sale could be tracked and commission created to the referring affiliate.

Here are a few simple examples of when it is beneficial for you to use site replication:

• Your company offers 2 types of products and you have a separate website for each product type. (e.g. a site about bicycles and a site about watches).
• You have 1000 affiliates.

If you would like to create a customized web site for each of your affiliates you will need to create 2,000 different websites. With Post Affiliate Pro’s site replication you would only have to create 2 websites and create 2 replicated site banners. Now, all your affiliates can have their own website, with replicated content from your web site templates.
