What are action commissions?
Action commissions are a type of commission structure in affiliate marketing where an affiliate marketer earns a commission only when a specific action is taken by a user that was referred by the affiliate.
By using the Action commissions feature, you can define different cost-per-action commissions. This action could be anything from a sale, a lead, a download, or any other predetermined action that the advertiser has set up as a goal for their marketing campaign. Essentially, the affiliate marketer is rewarded for driving valuable actions for the advertiser, rather than simply driving traffic or clicks to their website.
Action commissions can be an effective way for advertisers to incentivize affiliates to focus on driving high-quality traffic and conversions, as they only pay out commissions when specific goals are met.
There are no limits to the number of action commissions you can create in each campaign, so it is possible to track virtually almost all visitor movements if you insert a piece of JavaScript code or hidden image (pixel) in the pages (on which the particular action is executed).
How to activate action commission in Post Affiliate Pro?
In order to enable this feature, go to your Merchant panel > Configuration > Features , and click on the ‘Activate ‘ button next to action commissions. Activating the action commission feature requires reloading the merchant panel, after which you will be able to create new types of action commissions for your campaigns..
In the Campaign Manager, you can edit any campaign you wish to add an action commission to once the feature has been activated.
