Post Affiliate Pro - Enhancements and Resolutions for May 2023

Hello, Post Affiliate Pro community! May has been an exciting month as our team has been working tirelessly to bring you some valuable improvements, bug fixes, and plugin updates. In this monthly summary, we’d like to share an overview of the changes and updates we’ve made to the software.

Visitor ID column on commissions list

The visitor ID column can now be enabled for the commission list, making it easier to identify and analyze your visitors and their commissions.

Improved sale requests log error messages

The log message, “Commission is not defined in…”, now provides clearer information that will help identify the problem.

Affiliate status changed notification

A bug has been fixed where the ‘Status Changed’ notification email was sent when editing the affiliate details even if the affiliate status was not changed.

Missing ‘>’ in affiliate link protector HTML

A missing ‘>’ symbol in the HTML file generated by the Affiliate Link Protector has been corrected.

Page peel banner changes

Page peel banners no longer support the flash type, ensuring compatibility with modern web technologies.

Email footer/header templates for test emails

The email footer and header templates are now used correctly with test emails, providing a consistent experience.

Fixed clicks tracking using redirect links

We fixed a bug where some clicks on Redirect Links were not tracked in specific cases.

Improved affiliate signup process performance

To enhance the user experience, the affiliate signup process has been optimized, resulting in faster response times.

Invoice search by invoice number

We’ve added the ability to search for a specific invoice by its invoice number, making it easier to manage and track invoices.

Fixed ‘OrderID’ sorting in our API

We fixed an issue with the ‘OrderID’ column sorting in the Pap_Api_TransactionsGrid API class.

Cyrillic-based languages display on the login page

We fixed an issue where Cyrillic-based languages were displayed in bold in the language list box on the affiliate/merchant login page.

Added a new search button to the transaction details screen

We’ve added the option to search for clicks and commissions with the matching IP address or Visitor ID directly from the transaction details for easier access and analysis.

Allow merchant to set parent affiliate

Merchants can now manually set parent affiliates even when the “Do Not Set Parent Affiliate” option is enabled.

Affiliate invoice duplicates

We resolved an issue that, under certain circumstances, caused the Pay Affiliate process to generate two invoices for the affiliate rather than just one.

Click tracking request from user agent with special character

We’ve resolved a bug where a click request from a user agent with a special character was not being processed correctly.

Pagination issue in top affiliate report

We resolved an issue where pagination on the Top Affiliate Report wasn’t working correctly when sorting by currency column.

Merchant name displayed in “username changed” email notification

We fixed an issue where the merchant name was displayed instead of the affiliate name in the “Username Changed” notification.

Plugin improvements and fixes

• Shopify Plugin – Fixed affiliate commission group
  • We’ve addressed an issue where new affiliates were not being added to a specific commission group by the Shopify plugin.
• Stripe Plugin – Fixed custom separator
  • We’ve fixed an issue regarding the inability to save custom separators in the Stripe plugin.
• Stripe Plugin – multiple webhooks
  • We’ve improved the Stripe plugin to accept webhooks from multiple Stripe accounts.
• Zoho Subscriptions Plugin – product ID tracking
  • We’ve added product ID tracking to the Zoho Subscriptions plugin.
• Chargebee Plugin – product ID tracking
  • We’ve fixed product ID tracking to the Chargebee plugin.
